Description

Advertising brochure announcing the sixth season of photography exhibits at the Carriage House Studio. Illustrated by Mr. Rugg's view of Plymouth, Vt., which was made into a giant photo-mural, 20 x 27 feet, in the Vermont area of the New England Groups building at the New York World's Fair. The Carriage House Studio was opened in 1934 by Sarah Pomeroy and Francis Augustus Rugg in Arlington, Vermont. By the time they closed their operations in the "old carriage house" in 1949, the studio had received visitors from 39 U.S. states, Canada, and Europe.
