Color photograph of The Heiress Motel at 573 No. Main St, Barre, Vermont. The hotel was clearly renovated by the time this image was created (some number of years after HeiressMotel1.jpg.) The image shows an L-shaped motel, painted white with blue and red trim. There is a chain link fence surrounding a swimming pool where the front lawn was previously. There are primary-colored diamond shapes adorning the fence and balconies. The sign advertises the motel with air conditioning, TV, phones, and pool. The sign has been updated to look more mid-century modern, but the phone booth is still standing on the apex of the corner. The text on the back includes the AAA symbol and the following description: "The Heiress Motel Barre, Vermont 1 Mile West on U.S. Route 302 at 573 No. Main St. A modern 24 unit motel with large pleasant rooms, 5 channel TV, combination or shower bath, telephones, air conditioning, clock-radios, carpets, coffee, Swimming pool. Open year 'round Phone 802-476-4109 Jerry Routhier- Prop."
